Meet Noemi Erdelyi-Leviczki, Founder of The Mommy Co.

When you think maternity clothes, you don’t always think “Stylish.”  Noemi Erdelyi is on a mission to change that.  After being unable to find maternity clothes she felt beautiful in, she set out and founded The Mommy Co. a beautiful online store where you can find stunning maternity wear you will want in your closet long after baby comes.  Her prices are affordable and the clothes are beautiful.  We set down with Noemi to learn a bit more about her and the company:

The pieces on your site are beautiful.  Have you always wanted to pursue a career in fashion?

I’ve always been interested in fashion; like any other girl playing dress-up with my mom, back then had a slight obsession with earrings. But I pursued a carrier as a lawyer.

When I was expecting my son finding decent maternity clothes seemed to be a mission impossible, so I created The Mommy Co. to help moms-to-be and new moms to stay stylish, versatile, and keeping affordability in mind.

I see you also have cosmetics on your site.  What is your favorite product and why?

No doubt that my favorite product is The Tummy Rub Butter it saved my skin from developing stretch marks during my pregnancy.

I have to admit that I still use these cosmetics on a daily basis. Whenever I’m busy running around the city I apply the Lucky Legs gel and my legs don’t get swollen and tired.

I know first-hand that running a business and being a full-time mommy is hard work.  Do you have any advice for aspiring “mompreneurs” who want to start their own business?

Yes, it is hard work.

Since I’m new to this entrepreneurial world, one thing I can tell is there is no ideal time to start. To moms who are hesitating just go out and get it!

In my opinion it’s all about strict schedule.

Plus good to have a super supportive husband on hand.

At the end of the day you do it all for your family.

Describe your favorite outfit you have in your closet right now.  What about it do you love?

As always being on the road I prefer wearing dresses as you just pull them over and you’re ready to go.

Currently I’m in love with a piece from the Fall/Winter collection; a beige-black zig zag patterned dress with long sleeves. The best thing about this dress is that it fits nicely even if you don’t expect a baby.

If you could go on vacation, anywhere in the world, where would it be?

First thing coming to my mind is New Zealand. I have never been there and for me it looks like heaven on Earth. And I could always go to Tuscany my all-time favorite.

What’s next for The Mommy Co.?  And exciting future plans in the works?

Plenty of exciting projects await.

Future goals are to be part of initiatives that support moms; gain recognition in the Middle East.
